Nicholas Davies

Nick is Co-Founder, Managing Partner, and Chief Operating Officer of Sandrock Capital. He sits on the firm’s Board of Directors, senior management team, and its investment and compliance committees. As COO, he oversees internal operations and applies his legal and strategic expertise across the key markets in which the firm is active.

With more than 20 years of experience as an international lawyer and adviser, Nick has been based in Hong Kong, London, Moscow, and, since 2022, the United Arab Emirates. He qualified as an English lawyer in 2006 and built his career at Linklaters, Allen & Overy, and Freshfields before becoming a partner with Appleby and Walkers in Hong Kong.

In addition to his role at Sandrock, Nick is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SBL International, a leading boutique law firm headquartered in the UAE. His experience across multiple jurisdictions enables him to bring strong governance, regulatory insight, and cross-border expertise to Sandrock’s global operations.
