Dariusz Sliwinski

Dariusz Sliwinski is a global investment manager with more than 30 years of experience across developed, emerging and frontier markets, combining a long institutional track record with senior leadership experience across Europe and the GCC. Over the course of his career, he has managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios, led global emerging-market strategies and worked across some of the industry’s most respected investment platforms, including Martin Currie and Oman Investment Fund.

At Martin Currie, Dariusz rose to become Head of Global Emerging Markets, where he led the firm’s GEM strategy and built a strong performance record across a broad emerging-markets universe. His fund was recognised with an AA rating from Standard & Poor’s, reflecting both the quality of the investment process and the strength of its track record. He subsequently brought that experience to the Gulf, where he held senior investment responsibilities at Oman Investment Fund, overseeing significant global and regional portfolios and contributing to the selection and oversight of external managers. His career has therefore spanned the full institutional spectrum: direct equity investing, portfolio construction, manager selection, asset allocation and governance.

At Sandrock Capital, Dariusz brings this depth of experience to the firm’s public-markets platform, with a particular focus on UAE and MENA equities. His investment approach is rooted in fundamental research, disciplined portfolio construction and a willingness to take differentiated positions where the underlying risk-reward is compelling. Having invested across EMEA, global emerging markets and the GCC through multiple market cycles, he brings not only technical investment expertise but also the perspective that comes from having managed capital at scale, through changing regimes, geographies and market environments.
