Ankit Bansal

Ankit Bansal is a CFA charterholder and investment professional with more than a decade of experience across MENA and Asian equity markets. His approach is grounded in deep fundamental research, bottom-up stock selection and disciplined portfolio construction, with experience spanning institutional asset management, specialist MENA investing and sector research.

Before joining Sandrock, Ankit spent more than seven years with Sancta Capital, where he led fundamental investment research across MENA equities, contributed to investment decisions through the firm’s Investment Committee and helped support the growth of the platform and its institutional mandates. Earlier in his career, he worked with Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Global Emerging Markets Fundamental Equity team, researching companies across East Asia, and began his investment career in real estate research with Jones Lang LaSalle.

At Sandrock Capital, Ankit is Portfolio Manager for MENA Equities and is closely involved in the management of the firm’s MENA Equity and UAE Equity strategies. He combines rigorous company analysis with active position sizing and risk management, bringing an institutional investment process to identifying high-conviction opportunities across regional public markets.
