Bridget Butler

Bridget Butler has served as a Board Member and Chair of Sandrock Capital Ltd since July 2025 and is approved by the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulatory Authority as a Licensed Director. She brings extensive experience in regulatory compliance, governance, risk management and legal advisory work across financial services, regulatory bodies and government-related organisations.

At Sandrock, Bridget provides Board-level oversight and direction on strategy, governance, risk management and the firm’s control framework. Her responsibilities include overseeing delegation of authority arrangements, management reporting and governance processes. She contributes her legal, regulatory and compliance expertise to the firm’s long-term objectives, with particular involvement in developing strategic partnerships and leading special projects on behalf of the Board.

As a Licensed Director performing a Controlled Function, Bridget is accountable for the fitness, propriety, governance and conduct standards expected of an Approved Person. She maintains her professional competence through ongoing regulatory training covering anti-money laundering and financial crime, DIFC and DFSA laws and regulations, sanctions compliance, client onboarding, suspicious activity reporting and regulatory reporting requirements.
