Ioannis Gaiganis brings more than 27 years of experience across fund management, fund services, distribution and strategic advisory in Europe and the Middle East. His career combines investment leadership with extensive experience of regulated fund structures, asset servicing, governance and the development of cross-border investment platforms.

He has held senior positions with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Fidelity Investments and Société Générale and has worked across Luxembourg, the UK, Cyprus, Switzerland and the Middle East. Ioannis has also served as CEO of regulated alternative investment fund managers, including Forticap and Kendris Capital, overseeing fund structures, investment strategies and complex regulatory environments.

As Senior Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Sandrock Capital, Ioannis leads the firm’s investment activities and plays a central role in shaping its strategy, fund platform and institutional relationships. He combines investment judgement with deep operational and regulatory expertise, helping Sandrock develop differentiated investment opportunities within a robust governance framework.
