Paolo Volani brings more than 25 years of cross-border experience across the full real estate lifecycle — acquisition, renovation, ground-up development, asset management, structuring and exit — in European and UAE markets. He has led more than $1.2 billion of projects for high-net-worth individuals and family offices, across residential, commercial, hospitality, logistics and mixed-use assets.

His approach combines property fundamentals with a strong emphasis on governance and investment discipline, shaped by direct experience of how real estate performs once a strategy moves from paper to execution. It is this grounding, paired with institutional rigor, that turns individual opportunities into scalable, well-governed strategies.

At Sandrock Capital, Paolo leads the firm’s real estate business, including the Sandrock Real Estate Value-Add Fund. He brings an operator’s perspective to deal selection, structuring and portfolio value creation, and contributes to Sandrock’s broader thinking on the continued institutionalisation of the UAE and regional property market.
