Viji Munuswamy is an experienced risk management and governance professional with over a decade of experience in the financial services sector, specializing in banking operations, asset servicing, regulatory compliance, and risk oversight.

Prior to joining Sandrock Capital, she worked in governance and risk management at RAKBANK and held operational leadership and analytical roles with Northern Trust, State Street HCL Services, and BNY. These roles provided extensive exposure to financial operations, risk governance, regulatory requirements, and operational leadership across complex institutional environments.

As Risk Manager at Sandrock Capital, Viji is responsible for overseeing the firm’s risk management framework, including operational risk, cyber security risk, and data protection governance across the regulated fund management platform. She works closely with key stakeholders to strengthen control environments, support regulatory obligations, and enhance the firm’s overall risk, operational, and information security posture. Additionally, she contributes to governance, operational, and technology risk management initiatives across the firm.
